IQ Lab is a cognitive screening app made by ZappFlux. This policy explains what happens to your data when you use it.
Nothing. IQ Lab has no account or sign-up and does not connect to the internet. It does not collect, send or share any personal information, and it contains no advertising or analytics code.
When you finish a test, the app saves the result only on your device: the date, your estimated score and its interval, the subtest scores, any data-quality notes, and every answer you gave with its response time. This lets you look at past results and, if you choose, export them. The data never leaves your phone through the app. Deleting the app or clearing its storage in Android's settings removes all of it. The app opts out of Android's automatic device backup.
If you tap Export data, the app hands your results as text to the Android share menu. It goes only where you choose to send it. Your results are sensitive; share them only with people you trust.
IQ Lab gives an estimate, not a clinical IQ score or a diagnosis. Its item difficulties are provisional and its scale has not been normed on a population. It is not a substitute for assessment by a qualified psychologist.
IQ Lab is intended for adults (18 and over). It does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.
If a future version starts collecting any data, this policy will be updated before that version is released, and the "Last updated" date above will change.
